Ophelia's Flowers

In her madness, Ophelia envelops herself in flowers and herbs. She has realized what the others have not: the garden was never weeded. Ophelia realizes that none of the problems that lead to her father's death were resolved, hence the outcome. She uses the flowers as both a defense mechanism as well as a way to insult the others' stupidity at not seeing what she sees now.
